Produziert von Annette Humpe, überraschte das Album mit einer Mischung aus Beat, Polka, Ventures-Gitarren, Westcoast, Shanties und Bob Dylan sowie mit Rave- und House-Soundelementen. Die Platte enthält mit 'Irrenanstalt' einen Song, der zwar für die Theatergruppe 'Brühwarm' geschrieben wurde und bereits 1977 erschienen war, der sich aber auch im Live-Repertoire der Scherben fand.
